Job Purpose

Teamplayer in Finite element analysis validation team providing solutions to Crop Harvesting and Hay and Forage GPL customers. Advance virtual competencies while strengthening efficiency/effectiveness of physical testing methods via collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

•    Perform mechanical simulations—primarily strength and durability analyses—on agricultural harvesting product structures to assess design integrity and meet durability and cost requirements.
•    Process and analyze test data to correlate with simulation results.
•    Communicate the results to the Chief Engineer and design responsibles 
•    Collaborate with product design engineers during development and testing phases of new programs to ensure robust CNH designs and support program deadlines.
•    Support quality and purchasing teams in resolving field issues, warranty claims, and cost reduction initiatives.

Experience Required

•    Master’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural) or equivalent through experience.
•    Understanding of structural engineering fundamentals, simulation theory, and material properties
•    Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
•    Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

"Plusses / Nice-to-have's"

•    Experience with design engineering or Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
•    Basic familiarity with analysis tools, techniques, and processes (e.g., fatigue analysis) 
•    Familiarity with lab testing tools and techniques for simulation correlation.
•    Experience with Creo, TeamCenter, and MS Office.
•    Familiarity with Hypermesh, OptiStruct, and ABAQUS
