Job Purpose

As a Failure Analysis Technical Expert, you will be responsible for investigating warranty component failures, identifying root causes, and supporting supplier recovery processes. You’ll ensure accurate diagnostics and contribute to continuous improvement in product quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct failure analysis on metal and non-metal warranty components and assemblies
• Deliver root cause reports for dealer chargebacks, quality alerts, and supplier issues
• Perform metallurgical lab activities (e.g., hardness testing, microscopy)
• Define and maintain SOPs for first-level inspections
• Support supplier warranty recovery with technical evidence and documentation
• Assist in lab equipment calibration and management
• Respond to dealer inquiries via WIT Tool and email
• Use internal systems (telematics, parts diagrams/specifications) to validate failure modes

Experience Required

• Proven experience in failure analysis and root cause investigation
• Strong technical reporting and documentation skills
• Familiarity with metallurgical testing and lab procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; SAP knowledge is a plus
• Experience supporting audits and cross-functional collaboration
• License to operate forklift

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
• Experience in warranty analysis within the automotive or agricultural machinery sector
• Fluent in English communication, both written and spoken.
