Job Purpose
Het NH Conventional vehicle architect has specific accountability for virtual validation of current product and new program for Midrange Conventional and New Holland Value line combines worldwide. Support preparation, planning and execution of improvement and new developments for NH MRC products is a key element in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Owner of the Engineering Bill of Material, for New Holland Midrange and Value Line combines globally.
- Owner of Master Model(s) (platform engineering BOM's).
- Responsible for Virtual Validation: interference checks at system key level, VA promotion, critical link between all modules, avoiding post-releases and hight costs after final engineering release.
- Responsible for Virtual Validation activities for current product (current product management, current product improvements, special prototypes related)
- Provide space claims – pre-design studies, to PE, for new features or requests.
- Owner of engineering prototype fleet, content and their virtual prototype models.
- Assist in synchronization between master model and commercial PRP system and between sites.
- Support the Product Specialist to set up the commercial offering.
- Assist and provide DMU info in trainings, Product Information News Letters and various reviews for Product Management.
- Assist in organizing and building Development Build units.
- Support Chief Engineer and Platform in maintaining and increasing standardization across product lines.
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Fluent in English language (written and spoken).
- Strongly motivated to continue learning.
- Full understanding of engineering release and production processes
- Teamcenter (database) expert.
- Overall product knowledge is required.
- VisMockup knowledge is required.
- Professional in CAD and DMU environments.
- CREO expert and fluent with shrink-wraps and motion envelopes.
