Job Purpose

We are currently seeking a Test Engineer in our Wichita location.  In this role you will perform stuctural, hydraulic, vibration, noise, and software validation on component and Skidsteer and Compact Track Loader machines. Testing will be performed in lab and in field applications to support the overall development and enhancement of new and existing construction products.

Key Responsibilities

Performs engineering test validations to determine the performance, reliability, and durability of components and vehicle systems.

Analyzes lab test and field test results and performs failure analyses. Coordinate activities in the field to gather data relevant to

equipment operations.

Prepares reports of test results, identifies potential adjustments to component dimension (size, strength, material, etc) and makes recommendations to design engineering in order to enhance overall product quality.

Utilize engineering principles, practices, calculations, and judgment to make recommendations that contribute to the engineering and manufacturing objectives for specific products.

 

Experience Required

Bachelors in Mechanical, Agricultural, Aerospace Engineering or related degree

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with data acquisition and instrumentation

Mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge

Communication skills to provide simple and detailed summaries

Experience maintaining accurate and comprehensive test records
