Job Purpose

As the Product Performance Specialist for Skid Steers, Compact Track Loaders, XL CTL and DL you will solicit, collect, analyze, summarize, and present technical information and develop and propose product improvement programs.

Key Responsibilities

The Product Performance Specialist will:

  • Analyze warranty claims/data/statistics and ASIST concerns to quickly identify emerging issues to create technical improvement projects.
  • Create and maintain Quality & Reliability Roadmaps for assigned product lines. Collaborate with Quality & Reliability Specialist to develop action plans to achieve short and long range improvement targets.
  • Evaluate the need for a quality recall in the field. Assess the financial feasibility, and coordinate with suppliers, manufacturing, and engineering to determine possible field actions. The campaign will be monitored until it is officially launched to dealers. After the launch, PPS will track the campaign’s performance indicators.
  • Prioritize field Quality & Reliability issues through the Current Products Management process. Engage Global Product Support, Commercial organization and Platforms.
  • Lead, organize, and liaise with professional teams/solution providers including engineering, manufacturing, supplier quality, and peers to drive field and internal problem resolution.
  • Measure and analyze key performance indicators, develop improvement plans and communicate them to stakeholders.
  • Research and understand product, customer, and dealer dynamics to propose internal and field technical product improvement actions.
  • Promptly respond to technical escalations from dealer network and field representatives.
  • Author and release technical bulletins and proactive field information to support dealer service operations
  • Accurately estimate completion rates, parts, labor, travel, and other variable expenses associated with product improvement programs.
  • Assure and support aggressive field execution of product improvement programs.

Experience Required

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural Engineering or related field or Associate's Degree with 2+ years of experience with automotive, agriculture or construction equipment or High school with 5+ years of experience with automotive, agriculture or construction equipment.
  • 2+ years experience with automotive, agricultural or construction equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience with Agricultural or Construction Equipment
  • 3+ years’ experience with root cause analysis and validation tools
  • 3+ years’ experience working with statistical tools and/or analytics
  • 1+ years Product Validation Experience1+ years’ experience with project management and working with cross-functional teams.

Pay Transparency

​The annual salary for this role is USD $84,000.00 - $123,000.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
