Job Purpose
We are currently seeking a Senior Materials Analyst to join our Wichita team. The main function of this role is to support Wichita materials flow and expediting material from the company’s supply base. The Materials Planner is responsible for supplier communications and follow-up activities to ensure a smooth supply of parts. In this role, you will support and interact directly with suppliers as well as with receiving, consolidation, and transportation partners regarding the plants’ material requirements and instructions. You will use the CNH Industrial Supplier Portal, SharePoint, Excel-based tools, and data analytics tools to evaluate plants’ material requirements and minimum needs. You will be responsible for collecting and following up on shipping promises and resolving order exceptions, as well as detecting any risks to production plans. In this role, you will be responsible for controlling and scheduling the flow of goods, information, and resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement of material and warehousing and distribution of raw materials, goods-in process, inventory management. Controls the commercial impact of the complete range of activities (May include: receiving, locating and dispatching, sourcing, purchasing and optimizing inventory levels).
- Analyzes contractual commitments, customer specifications, design changes, and other data to plan and develop logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life-cycle of product.
- Develops and implements program activities, coordinates efforts of subcontractors, suppliers, production departments, and field service personnel, and resolves problems in area of logistics to ensure meeting of commitments.
- Plans, schedules, and monitors inbound movement of materials from suppliers
- Determines material requirements and coordinates the efficient movement of materials and purchasing, production and engineering.
- Complies data on order volume, production schedules and forecasts, and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials and requirements.
- Is responsible for the flow of materials, parts and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department priorities
- Develops policies and procedures to ensure timely flow of materials and for tracking physical inventory
- Develops specifications for new contract orders
- Other related duties as assigned.
Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree plus 2 or more years of manufacturing logistics and/or manufacturing planning experience OR Associate's degree plus 5 or more years of manufacturing logistics and/or manufacturing planning experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 7 or more years of manufacturing logistics and/or manufacturing planning experience

The annual salary for this role is $62,000.00-$80,000.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
