We are currently seeking an Internal Logistics / Warehouse Manager to join our team Wichita, KS. In this role, you will plan and coordinate inbound and outbound logistical operations including master scheduling, production planning, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products and the achievement of our manufacturing and financial objectives. Additionally, you will be responsible for planning, controlling, and scheduling the flow of materials, information, and resources from goods-in and production to distribution. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing the Plant Master Schedule, material/parts planning and releasing, warehousing, material flow inside the Plant, logistics engineering, distribution of raw materials, goods-in process, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Controls the commercial impact of the complete range of activities from receiving, locating, and dispatching, purchasing, and optimizing inventory levels.
  • Administers an effective system that meets the organization's inventory control needs through efficient transportation of raw materials, component parts and/or finished goods
  • External / Internal warehouse optimization, 3pl management, metric management, and utilization and efficiency tracking.
  • Analyzes contractual commitments, customer specifications, design changes, and other data to plan and develop logistics program activities from conceptual stage through life-cycle of product.
  • Develops and implements program activities, coordinates efforts of subcontractors, suppliers, production departments, and field service personnel, and resolves problems in area of logistics to ensure meeting of commitments.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Supplychain, logisitics, or business
  • 10 or more years of logistics engineering and or/logistics management experience in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean/six sigma manufacturing experience
  • Business Process Design/Business Analytics experience
  • SAP/Warehouse Management experience
