Job Purpose

We are seeking a motivated Hydraulic Systems Engineering Co-op to support the design and development of electro-hydraulic systems for Construction Equipment. This is a hands-on opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers on real product development programs, gaining exposure to hydraulic system architecture, simulation tools, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

● Support the design and development of electro-hydraulic systems for Construction Equipment, including skid steer loaders, compact track loaders, wheel loaders, and dozers

● Assist with component research, selection analysis, and Bill of Material (BOM) documentation

● Collaborate with Product Engineering, Electrical, Controls, and Product Validation teams on active development projects

● Support DFMEA documentation, system testing, and validation planning activities

● Learn and apply simulation tools (AMESim, Automation Studio, or similar) under engineer guidance

● Assist with project tracking, milestone documentation, and technical reporting

Experience Required

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering (required)
  • Basic understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, or machine design principles (coursework is sufficient)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is USD $19.57 - $27.81 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
