Job Purpose
The Plant Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing logistics operations within the plant, focusing on the efficient movement and storage of materials, components, and finished products. This role involves coordinating with production, procurement, and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery and accurate inventory management.
- Monitor parts issuance on 7 product line(SCH,TRT,BLR,CMB & HDR,ID10,ROTAVATOR & Round baler line) as per Production plan & sequence.
- Ensure adherence of line feeding strategy for all 7 product lines (avoid over feeding, control issuance of high value material etc).
Key Responsibilities
- Design and modify line feeding process and improve efficiency
- Close co-ordination with production team for line rejections and system booking.
- Ensure forecast of critical shortage parts and communicate timely to procurement team.
- Ensure on time dispatch of empty trolleys as per dispatch plan given by procurement team.
- Follow-up with buyer and ensure regular dispatch/clearance of rejections from plant.
- Monitor material gate operation and ensure on-time GRN posting & confirmation in LN.
- Monitor receiving process and ensure all processes are followed and put away done on time. Improve vehicle TAT.
- Monitor warehouse operation and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Monitor all system transactions and ensure document accuracy
- Close co-ordination with quality team for on-time removal of rejections and deposal of scraps.
- Ensure circulation of daily MIS and maintain necessary records
- Monitor plant logistics performance, analyzing key metrics and identifying areas for improvement to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
- Monitor daily operation data and drive continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all plant logistics activities.
- Establish close co-ordination with Paint and Fab shop counter parts and PPC.
- Need to have process oriented approach and cost consciousness.
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 12-15 years of experience & minimum 8years experiance in plant logistics, inventory management, or supply chain operations.

Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is INR ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,100,000.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
