Job Purpose

Support Platform Managers in the planning, governance and tracking of R&D spending, investments and budgets throughout the new product development lifecycle and current product activities. The role is responsible for providing a consolidated view of the overall picture, ensuring cross-functional alignment across teams, functions and countries.

The role will also focus on data preparation, consolidation, reporting, and process support activities, contributing to the successful implementation of enhanced planning and portfolio management practices. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the candidate will help ensure accuracy, consistency, and readiness across a variety of planning-related processes and tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive planning, forecasting and governance of Current Product activities and New Product Projects investments and expenditures (R&D, Capex, etc).
• Monitor performance through Plan vs. Actual analysis, ensuring accuracy, and proactive risk management. Identify and communicate budget deviations, risks and opportunities.
• Evaluate funding requests and budget proposals, ensuring alignment with business priorities, approved budgets, governance standards, and financial policies.
• Prepare reports, forecasts, and management documentation to support informed decision-making and stakeholder communication.
• Contribute to the assessment of future investment needs and support long-term financial planning across the project portfolio.
• Identify opportunities to optimize resource utilization and leverage synergies across product lines.
• Coordinate and ensure compliance with the PERF process, supporting timely and accurate project submissions and updates.
• Strengthen governance, budgeting, and portfolio management processes through continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects

Experience Required

• Strong analytical skills (preferably with knowledge of statistical tools)
• Knowledge of Power BI (preferably capable of creating and updating reports)
• Logical and rigorous problem-solving approach and experience with problem solving tools
• High level of autonomy / self-starter with ability to drive results
• Team player, strong communication skills.
• Expert in Microsoft Office
• English fluent written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor degree in finance, Accounting, Engineering or related field

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is EUR 39,000 - 59,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
