Job Purpose

Manufacturing WMS Application Senior Specialist.  Responsible for IT Service Management processes and project management related to Spare Parts & Manufacturing Warehouse Management solutions on a global scale. Responsabilities: Monitoring and analyzing service levels and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
Supporting cost control and optimization efforts, ensuring alignment between application systems and business process requirements.
Ensuring the creation and maintenance of business/user requirements documentation, technical documentation, and training materials.
Preparing solution proposals in collaboration with other ICT areas.
Leading, participating in, or supporting projects focused on application evolution and maintenance, while ensuring quality, adherence to methodologies, and cost control.
Planning and authorizing release deployments in the production environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and liaising with globally distributed Information and Communication Technology (ICT) teams, business counterparts, third-party vendors, and software/service providers regarding projects, application enhancements, customizations, bug fixes, and new releases.
  • Ensuring solution availability and delivery according to defined KPIs and SLAs.
  • Managing risks, incidents, problems, and escalations.
  • Managing stakeholders and representing the Depot and Warehouse Management team in cross-functional meetings and forums. 

Experience Required

•    Be proactive, solutions focused, have strong problem solving capability, have good organization skills
•    Be able to demonstrate experience in managing ICT service in a large, complex organization
•    Have experience managing 3rd party vendors, software/service providers
•    Be able to build relationships and work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders
•    2+ years of previous experience in logistics, warehouse management, supply chain and IT
•    B.S degree or above.
•    Focus on Service Level up time to avoid any business disruption
•    Knowledge of IT project management methods, System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
•    Strong problem solving, analysis, design skills
•    Excellent organization skills and attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize and manage a variety of complex tasks and activities
•    Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills required
•    English
•    Basic knowledge of hardware and network infrastructure

Preferred Qualifications

•    Automotive or heavy equipment industry experience within after sales
•    IT consulting experience 
•    Certification in relevant disciplines (PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB), Scrum, AGILE)
•    Software Engineering skill 
•    Experience in Oracle databases, Oracle OTM, Project 44, J2EE, HTML, JavaScript, JSP, Web Services, UNIX, Linux, SQL, PL/SQL, Windows Server
•    Consulting and implementation experience with WMS solutions preferred; other leading supply chain execution solutions such as Manhattan Associates, Oracle, SAP, etc. will also be considered
