Job Purpose
Support the Electrical Leader and Chief Engineer in defining concept and technical solutions related to the electrical system and ensuring the correct interfaces between the various groups and components, following within the Product Engineering the New Programs and the Current Product process phases.
Design wiring diagrams, 3D harnesses routing and harnesses drawings, developing and carrying over electrical/electronic components.
Define components sourcing and integrate them inside entire vehicle system
Key Responsibilities

- He/She looks for the best technical solution given design requirements in cooperation also with Components Product Line, in accordance with the objectives on cost, quality and timing
- He/She manages the release of the drawings (wiring diagrams, harnesses drawings and layout); defines and populates BOM’s, manages the Engineering Change process
- He/She prepares the technical documentation for assessments on costs / investments to support decision-making processes
- He/She provides the necessary technical information for vehicle testing and the field test and for the management of ' problem solving ' in the quality issue needed
- He/She manages design activities as co-design and outsourcing services with suppliers and compliance with plans and objectives
- He/She supports the standardization for new developments in terms of materials and technology for the specific applications
Experience Required
- Electrical / Electronic Engineering degree or technical background desired
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in power and signal distribution, wire harnesses and electrical systems design
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of English (written and spoken)
- Advanced CAD user in system for electricals (Capital, TeamCenter, VisMockup and Creo Cabling preferred)
- Technical skills: advanced knowledge of technical drawings, materials, manufacturing technologies with focus on electrical /electronic systems
- Use and knowledge of procedures for the DFMEA area
- Understanding hydraulic schematics
- Microsoft packages: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Prior experience in design of Agriculture / Construction equipment is preferred
Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is EUR 35.100 - 53.820 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
