Job Purpose

The Structural Analysis Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and validation of tractor components/systems through advanced structural, dynamic, and durability simulations

The selected candidate will contribute throughout the entire product development cycle, from concept phase until design release, applying FEA methodologies to assess durability and structural performance of components/systems, providing solutions based on simulation results to support design optimization.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of the Medium&Specialty Tractor- PV Virtual Validation – Structural Analysis team, key responsibilities will be:

  • Support the development and virtual validation of mechanical components and systems from concept phase through final design release for Medium & Specialty Tractor programs.
  • Perform structural, nonlinear, dynamic, and durability analyses using advanced FEA tools and analytical calculations.
  • Perform advanced fatigue analysis (Time domain, frequency domain) using FEA tools for fatigue
  • Interpret simulation results and provide design proposals to Engineering team to improve and optimize the structural behavior of components/systems
  • Prepare technical reports and present analysis findings for cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Support structural, durability, vibration, and validation testing activities, ensuring proper correlation between virtual and physical results.
  • Develop and enhance structural simulation methodologies, best practices, and validation processes to improve virtual validation accuracy and efficiency.
  • Act as the focal point for structural simulation activities within the assigned programs, collaborating closely with Engineering, PLPV, Test Engineering, and other Simulation teams to define and execute Integrated Validation Plans (IVP)

Experience Required

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in structural analysis, virtual validation, or product development within the automotive, off-highway, agricultural, aerospace, or related industries.
  • A background with agricultural equipment is desirable.
  • Knowledge of surface mesh preparation using  Hypermesh  would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Nastran, Abaqus, Virtual Lab, Ncode or other similar commercial FEA solvers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree, preferably in mechanical engineering, or equivalent by experience
  • Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a global team
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
  • Proactiveness and accountability
  • Able to work under minimal supervision and to manage multiple projects 
  • Team player
  • Problem solving skills

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is EUR 40.000 - 52.000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
