We’re looking for a Pricing & Margin Analyst based in St Marys, NSW who thrives on uncovering insights, ensuring strong control principles and acting as a trusted business partner. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring that pricing strategies and margin management are aligned with business goals across the entire group.

 

As a key member of our finance team, you’ll ensure control principles are respected and implemented across all operations, while providing strategic support to business leaders. Your insights will directly influence decision-making and help us unlock new opportunities for sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide business support for the implementation of various marketing programs, including wholesale and retail campaigns, sales incentives and key account initiatives
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis to evaluate the profitability, feasibility, and alignment of programs with budgeted and forecasted margins
  • Analyse and approve commercial initiatives by cross-checking with related marketing and sales programs
  • Define prices and margins for new models to support informed commercial decision-making
  • Prepare pricing templates, margin calculations and supporting documents for whole goods
  • Support the commercial team with extra discount assessments for aged inventory liquidation, including residual value (RV) analysis
  • Monitor aged stock movements in relation to implemented pricing strategies
  • Track and manage the discount reserve to ensure alignment with financial policies and ensure the correct level of VMD reserve is maintained
  • Drive system automation enhancements and contribute to ongoing process improvements
  • Verify legal entity profitability across the group
  • Conduct monthly analysis of net revenue and gross margin by market, brand, and CBU

 

Experience Required

  • Degree in Economics, Finance or a related field
  • Committed, detail-oriented self-starter with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly and confidently convey complex metrics and analysis to internal teams and stakeholders at all levels
  • Collaborative team member who thrives in a cross-functional, multi-level environment
  • Highly proficient in MS Office, and experienced with financial and operational model building
  • Solid understanding of ERP systems and financial reporting tools
  • Comfortable working under pressure and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
