Job Purpose

Are you passionate about agricultural machinery and motivated by solving complex technical challenges? Do you enjoy working hands-on with advanced ag‑tech while building strong relationships in the field?

 

We’re seeking an experienced Field Technical Specialist to provide in‑field technical support to dealerships and distributors across Australia. This role plays a critical part in supporting our tractor range through expert diagnostics, guidance, and practical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on technical support to authorised dealers and distributors, investigating and resolving complex technical issues in the field across Australia
  • Conduct dealer and customer site visits to ensure efficient and effective resolution of technical concerns
  • Coach and mentor dealer technical teams to build product knowledge and diagnostic capability
  • Prepare clear, detailed technical field reports to support issue tracking and escalation
  • Identify recurring product or system issues and provide actionable feedback to improve product performance and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with technical and training specialists across the business, including:
    • Administering THD requests and contributing to Level 1 technical training materials
    • Supporting and driving product improvement programs within the market
    • Promoting effective use of technical support applications and digital platforms

Experience Required

  • Trade qualification in an industrial maintenance–related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ relevant technical experience, ideally within agricultural, construction, or heavy equipment environments
  • Strong technical capability across mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic systems
  • Proven diagnostic skills with modern electronic and hydraulic systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with dealers and customers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Self-motivated with effective time management and organisational skills
  • Resourceful, adaptable, and resilient under pressure
  • Competent using the Microsoft Office suite
  • Willingness to travel across Australia frequently
