If you enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment, improving processes, and seeing your decisions directly improve customer satisfaction, this could be your next career move.

We’re looking for a Parts Buyer to join our ANZ team in St Marys NSW, playing a critical role in the quality, efficiency, and reliability of our Aftermarket Services (AMS) operation. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the timely supply of high‑quality parts across the region - supporting our brand reputation, meeting market demand, and reducing customer downtime.

In this role, you’ll be hands‑on, highly visible, and trusted to take ownership of key purchasing activities that help shape an agile, cost‑effective, and customer‑focused supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

As a key contributor to the ANZ supply chain, you will:

  • Manage RFQs for spare parts, including supplier sourcing, negotiation, evaluation, and recommendations
  • Ensure purchasing activities comply with internal policies, DoA, and procurement standards
  • Research markets to maintain and expand a competitive supplier base, providing price benchmarking and purchasing advice
  • Build strong supplier relationships, conducting performance reviews and driving continuous improvement
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to optimise processes and deliver cost‑saving initiatives
  • Resolve supply issues across quality, cost, delivery, and capacity
  • Maintain purchasing documentation, analyse data, and produce performance reports
  • Lead contract negotiation, execution, and management, ensuring legal and commercial compliance
  • Collaborate with central purchasing teams to align local and global sourcing strategies
  • Support audits, process improvements, and cross‑functional projects

Experience Required

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, procurement, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience in spare parts procurement, ideally within a large‑scale manufacturing or global organisation
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation with a collaborative, win‑win approach
  • Sound understanding of procurement processes, compliance, and relevant legal requirements
  • Clear and confident communicator, able to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to convert data into practical actions
  • Hands‑on experience with SAP or similar ERP/purchasing systems
  • Proficient in MS Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Planner
  • Proactive, detail‑oriented, and motivated to continuously improve processes
