Job Purpose

The Strategic Accounts Specialist role is primarily focused on sales generation and customer retention for CNH digital products. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities while nurturing, expanding, and retaining existing customer relationships.  
 
This is a field based role with a strong focus on the Upper Midwest and extending to the Northeast Territory including the following states, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and West Virginia. The preferred candidate will be located in Iowa, Illinois, or Missouri.  Travel requirements range from 50–75% depending on location and season, with spring and summer focused on frequent customer visits involving primarily day trips and occasional overnight stays (1–2 nights per week). Fall and winter travel shifts to off-season customer visits, farm shows, and events that may require flying and extended travel, including multiple weeks with 3–4 consecutive nights on the road.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new revenue by prospecting, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities for CNH digital products
  • Manage and grow existing accounts to ensure long-term customer retention and adoption
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with dealers, producers, and agribusiness partners across both B2B and direct-to-consumer channels
  • Conduct in-person and virtual product demonstrations that clearly showcase value, efficiency gains, and operational benefits
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding and communicating regional agribusiness and producer needs
  • Accurately track sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions within CRM systems (Salesforce)
  • Adapt quickly to evolving business priorities, digital technologies, and industry changes

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management, Agribusiness, Ag Technology, or Digital Solutions.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in sales, negotiation, and relationship‑building.
  • Able to clearly communicate technical or digital solutions in a customer‑friendly manner.
  • Polished and confident public speaking skills, including the ability to deliver effective in‑person and virtual product demonstrations.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Solid understanding of agricultural operations, workflows, and regional market needs.
  • Self‑motivated and results‑driven, with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Adaptable and open to change in a fast‑paced, evolving industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Dealers, Producers, or Agribusiness customers strongly preferred. 
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and retention goals.  
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM.
  • Experience working with ag‑retail or field operations platforms such as Slingshot, Dispatch Pro, AgSync, or FieldOps.
  • Prior experience in ag retail dispatching or operations management is strongly preferred.

Pay Transparency

​The annual salary for this role is USD $74,625 to $114,425 plus any applicable bonus (actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
