Job Purpose
The Test Engineering teams are responsible for validating hardware and software systems to ensure CNH products meet performance, safety, and quality standards. With two internship opportunities across different teams, students will gain exposure to test planning, execution, and reporting for both precision agriculture systems and mechanical/electrical components.
As a Test Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience working in lab, field, and simulation environments to evaluate system readiness and provide feedback that directly influences product release.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities may include:

Evaluating test requirements based on specifications, internal procedures, and external standards

Developing test plans and procedures in support of product readiness

Executing and documenting hardware and software tests on agricultural equipment such as tractors, planters, seeders, sprayers, and combines

Identifying and recommending test equipment, fixturing, or tooling to support validation activities

Preparing reports of testing data, analyzing results, and providing recommendations for improvements

Supporting the request for quote (RFQ) process for test equipment as needed

Providing timely feedback to development teams and contributing to continuous improvement efforts

Supporting compliance with ISO quality management systems, safety standards, and ergonomic practices

Performing root cause analysis and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve test-related issues

Supporting advanced precision ag system testing, including simulation-based validation methods
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor’s degree in the following majors or a related field: Biological/Agriculture Engineering, Ag Systems Managment, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Precision Agriculture
Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is USD $19.00 - $31.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
