Intern Program Overview

We are committed to building a strong talent pipeline by investing in early career professionals. Our internship and co-op programs provide mentorship, training, hands-on experience, and growth opportunities that empower students to explore their career paths with confidence. Through competitive wages, networking events, social and volunteer activities, professional development workshops, and housing support, we strive to deliver one of the best internship experiences—designed to develop and inspire the talent of tomorrow. Summer interns work full-time (40 hours per week) from May through August. Candidates must be currently enrolled college students actively pursuing a degree to participate in the internship program.

Key Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern on the Mechanical Integration team you’ll work to integrate CNH’s precision agriculture technology on farm machinery.   

Essential Functions 

• Research, develop, and evaluate designs for integrating precision technology with machine’s electrical, communication, and hydraulic systems.  
• Perform installation & testing of the integrated system. 
• Create and update documentation for designs throughout all phases of the project. 
• Coordinate engineering efforts and provide engineering assistance to internal teams or external customers. 
• May provide or assist with training needs as it relates to new or existing products or processes. 
• May assist with quote or request for quote process. 
• Demonstrates support for company culture in their daily actions. 
• Has knowledge and skills in the engineering discipline. Uses prescribed techniques and procedures within established criteria. 
• Tasks are well-defined. 

Experience Required

Pursuing B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates are a Junior or Senior

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is USD $19.57 - $35.02 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
