Job Purpose

We are seeking a proactive and experienced IT Business Partner for Precision & Electronics to support the R&D team in managing digital solutions related to connectivity services, embedded software, and intelligent systems. The ideal candidate combines strong project management skills with technical expertise in cloud platforms, data analytics, Embedded Software, and AI/ML technologies—including Generative AI—while working cross-functionally across business, technical, and external teams.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support R&D team in the full lifecycle of solutions focused on connectivity services, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology strategy.
  • Act as a knowledge point for new emerging technologies driving innovation projects in the connectivity and cloud-native technologies  domain by identifying emerging technologies, piloting new solutions, and transforming ideas into concrete IT initiatives with business value.
  • Participate in the execution of the IT vision and consolidation roadmap, aligning project goals with strategic objectives, contributing to architectural evolution, and ensuring consistency across departments and solutions.
  • Gather requirements from product management teams and connectivity stakeholders, translating them into actionable plans and specifications.
  • Oversee the design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of applications.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external development teams, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
  • Coordinate and prioritize project activities across multiple teams in an Agile environment.
  • Promote the adoption of best practices in DevOps, cloud architecture, data integration, and security compliance.
  • Monitor project KPIs, budgets, risks, and dependencies, reporting progress to IT and business leadership.
  • Work closely with Data Privacy, Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure solutions meet compliance and architectural standards.
  • Support business continuity by ensuring stable operations and defining application evolution roadmaps.
  • Organize and lead cross-functional project meetings, stakeholder reviews, and vendor interactions.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to integrate AI, ML, and GenAI into connectivity services and embedded software solutions to enhance automation, predictive capabilities, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to design and implement intelligent features using ML models and GenAI frameworks.
  • Lead pilot initiatives that apply Generative AI to accelerate software development, documentation, diagnostics, and customer support workflows.
  • Ensure AI/ML solutions comply with ethical standards, data privacy regulations, and enterprise architecture guidelines.
  • Promote the use of AI-driven analytics and decision support tools across R&D and product development teams.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management, ideally in connectivity, engineering, or product development domains.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end application delivery management (with a focus on cloud-based applications and Connectivity services).
  • Understanding of Embedded SW Design & development processes, On-Board Diagnostic and Electronic Systems validation, and related Off-Board SW
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and practices and proficiency in Azure DevOps, Jira, and Polarion.
  • Familiarity with public cloud services (e.g., Azure) and Azure data services/platforms (e.g., Azure Data Lake, IoT platforms, Databricks, Kubernetes).
  • Experience in business and application support management and continuous improvement processes.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including developers, architects, QA, and business users.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess priorities and make decisions under pressure.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to integrate AI, ML, and GenAI into connectivity services and embedded software solutions to enhance automation, predictive capabilities, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to design and implement intelligent features using ML models and GenAI frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a connectivity or engineering IT environment.
  • Knowledge of data pipelines, ETL processes, and automation tools.
  • Understanding of cloud cost optimization practices and service management.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to integrate AI, ML, and GenAI into connectivity services and embedded software solutions to enhance automation, predictive capabilities, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to design and implement intelligent features using ML models and GenAI frameworks.
  • Lead pilot initiatives that apply Generative AI to accelerate software development, documentation, diagnostics, and customer support workflows.
  • Ensure AI/ML solutions comply with ethical standards, data privacy regulations, and enterprise architecture guidelines.
  • Promote the use of AI-driven analytics and decision support tools across R&D and product development teams.

Pay Transparency

​The annual salary for this role is $72,750 - $97,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
