Job Purpose
Multiple internship opportunities are available across different teams, providing exposure to a variety of electrical engineering projects that directly impact product development, validation, and improvement.
As an Electrical Engineer Intern, you will collaborate with engineering teams on active projects and lead assigned summer projects that contribute to product performance and innovation. These roles offer the chance to apply technical knowledge in real-world settings, gain cross-functional experience, and develop practical engineering skills.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities may include:

Supporting the Electrical Engineering team with low-level software development, manufacturing electrical testing, and other engineering tasks

Performing virtual optical analysis of lamps and regulatory test points, as well as physical verification of cameras and lights

Leading focused projects such as analyzing haptic feedback curves across Multifunction Handles (MFHs) and joystick product families

Gathering and synthesizing field trial feedback on touch encoders and shifter handles to support refinement and validation

Reviewing application requirements, defining motors or actuators, integrating them into machines, and conducting performance testing

Contributing to lab improvement projects, including building repeatable test benches, expanding measurement systems, and increasing data logging capabilities

Fabricating, testing, calibrating, and troubleshooting electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical components, subsystems, and systems
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Agriculture Engineering

Experience with C++, Linux embedded systems, PCB design, EMC, and Board Support Packages is helpful

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills

Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional engineering environment
Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is USD $19.00 - $31.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
