Job Purpose

This role is responsible for sourcing activities, such as new supplier development, RFI, RFQ, commercial negotiation, supply base optimization, supplier management, ensure on time delivery, drive cost reduction etc on the assigned product lines within Metallic commodity. This role supports CNH EMEA/LATAM/NAFTA for global sourcing activities from China as well.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the sourcing activity, conduct RFI/RfQ and Technical review, make sure to close the sourcing to meet target cost, timing, technical/quality/logistic requirement and align with the strategy.
• Manage purchasing budget for the assigned product line.
• Negotiate with supplier for Long Term Reduction and Raw material indexation.
• Negotiate with supplier for contracts (frame agreement, tooling agreement etc)
• Identify cost saving measures by market test, cost analyzing etc to drive cost reduction
• Optimize supply base and manage supplier relationship
• Making strategies for responsible components
• Support engineering and quality team through launch process.
• Monitor supplier delivery to ensure continuity of production.
• Work with cross function team to address critical issues, such as shortage, quality, lead-time, etc.

Experience Required

• Bachelor Degree or above, Major related to Mechanical engineering.
• Min 5 years of purchasing experience in a multinational company preferably in Industrial or Automotive
• Experience in forging and machining commodity and export business are preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills
• Good communication skills
• Proficiency both oral and written in English
