Job Purpose

As a Senior Sourcing Specialist - Parts, you will provide strategic commodity and supplier leadership for Metallic P&S NAFTA, balancing long-term commercial direction, cross-functional alignment, and team leadership with tactical execution across assigned commodities and suppliers.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Commodity and Supplier Management
    • Lead the strategic direction for assigned commodities and suppliers within Metallic P&S NAFTA.
    • Provide strategic leadership across focused categories such as Ground Engagement, Cutting Parts, and Specialty, representing approximately $30M APV, 12 suppliers, and 773 part numbers.
    • Drive market testing, large-scale pricing initiatives, and tariff negotiations to improve competitiveness and support business objectives.
    • Lead the development and execution of key commercial agreements, including LTA, MSA, warranty, and OWP agreements, where applicable.
    • Align commodity strategies with the OE team while supporting aftermarket and customer commercial requirements.
    • Partner with Parts Marketing and DFS teams to support growth, margin expansion, and rebate/PPV capture.
  • Commodity Leadership and Team Support
    • Serve as the M1 commodity lead and primary point of contact for designated buyers and commodity areas.
    • Team lead for 6 buyers managing $154M in total annual procurement volume (APV).
    • Act as the team subject matter expert (SME) for tariff management, currently overseeing approximately $40M in tariff-impacted suppliers and driving ongoing mitigation strategies, supplier negotiations, and cost-containment initiatives.
    • Mentor and support buyers through commodity planning, supplier engagement, and commercial strategy development.
    • Lead and oversee medium- to high-impact special projects and present updates and recommendations to management.
    • Support and guide medium- to high-level commercial commodity strategies and major supplier negotiations.
    • Provide oversight and support for LTA, MSA, SSP, warranty, and OWP agreements.
    • Drive commodity alignment with regional OE and global P&S commodity and marketing teams.
    • Coordinate across OE regional commodity teams, global P&S commodity teams in EMEA, LATAM, and APAC, and regional P&S marketing teams on initiatives such as hardware/weldments and ground engagement.
  • Tactical Commodity and Supplier Management
    • Manage the day-to-day activities for an assigned set of P&S commodities and suppliers.
    • Oversee categories including Ground Engagement, Chain, and Sprockets.
    • Manage a portfolio totaling approximately $54M APV across 62 suppliers and 3,078 part numbers.
    • Execute supplier sourcing, resourcing, and negotiations at the part and purchase-order level.
    • Support Material Management and other P&S customer commercial requirements.
    • Manage budget goals and KPI performance for assigned commodities, including rebate and PPV objectives.

Experience Required

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or relevant field.
  • 8 years experience with direct negotiations, cost reduction strategy/implementation, and supplier sourcing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Excel (to include pivot tables and v-look ups) and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 20%

Pay Transparency

​The annual salary for this role is $106,725 - $163,645 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
