Job Purpose

The Compliance Lead Investigator will be a key member of the Compliance Investigations team, responsible for leading and co-leading internal investigations across CNH's global operations, with attention to CNH’s North American operations. This role is critical to upholding the company's Code of Conduct, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards, and promoting a culture of integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and co-lead compliance investigations from start to finish.
  • Assess initial allegations, create investigation plans, gather and analyze evidence, conduct interviews with relevant parties, and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Prepare clear, concise, and thorough investigation reports for presentation to leadership and relevant committees, including recommendations for corrective actions and consistent application of the company's disciplinary framework in accordance with the company’s compliance policies and applicable laws.
  • Conduct and lead investigations into allegations of workplace misconduct, including harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, ensuring close coordination with Human Resources.
  • Manage and lead investigations related to allegations of business integrity issues, such as fraud, improper use of company resources, and conflicts of interest, in close partnership with Internal Audit, Finance, and relevant business segments. 
  • Oversee the daily management of the compliance reporting channels and case management system, ensuring that all investigation files are maintained accurately, confidentially, and in a timely manner.
  • Develop and deliver targeted training and communications on various ethics and integrity topics to promote awareness and embed a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
  • Support the continuous improvement of the compliance investigations program, including the development of global policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Legal, HR, Internal Audit, and regional business leaders to ensure a coordinated, consistent and effective approach to investigations.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required (estimated up to 25%). 

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Law, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources) required. A Law Degree is strongly preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience conducting corporate internal investigations in a multinational corporate, consulting, or law firm environment, with a focus on compliance and ethics matters.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-border investigations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of compliance principles and investigation best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, interviewing, and report-writing skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex cases and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to manage sensitive matters with the highest degree of integrity, objectivity, and confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cultures and functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required. Familiarity with compliance case management systems, e-discovery tools, and digital forensic concepts related to corporate investigations is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred; proficiency in other languages such as French, Italian or Portuguese is a significant advantage.

Pay Transparency

​The annual salary for this role is $105,750 - $141,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
