Job Purpose

To ensure the smooth operation of Fabrication Harvesters (Sugarcane, Baler, Combine & Cabin) operation at right quality with right cost by ensuring safe working condition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery and cost KPI’s
  • Knowledge of plant processes including painting & assembly
  • People Management
  • Line Balancing: Develop & implement line balancing.
  • Resource Optimization: By De-bottlenecking, Layout modifications, Workflow optimization
  • Operational Review: Ergonomic assessment for Operator utilization, Facility utilization, Labor cost, Capacity Augmentation, Job contract cost etc.
  • Process Documents - PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP/OPL

  • Quality gate targets FTQ In & FTQ Out for Harvesters (Sugarcane, Baler, Combine & Cabin)

  •  Feedback of defects to line, eliminating the defects at source

  •  

    Recording of losses & reduction in R/W Hrs.

     

Experience Required

12-16+ Years of Experience in Fabrication lines related to production activity

Preferred Qualifications

B.E./ B.Tech(Mechanical/ Production), additional advantage if welding certification from BHEL Trichi
