Job Purpose

Project Manager will be responsible for managing small projects or specific phases of larger programs, overseeing end-to-end execution. Set timelines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery. Track performance, address risks, and provide regular status updates to senior management. 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate with local platform team (core project team) for execution of projects as per GPD process.
  2. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  3. Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
  4. Develop macro & micro level project plan to monitor and track progress
  5. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project budget, project costs using appropriate tools
  6. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  7. Report and escalate to management as and when needed.
  8. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  9. Develop and maintain project documentation for milestone approvals.
  10. Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  11. Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
  12. Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
  13. Use and continually develop leadership skills
  14. Perform other related duties as assigned

Experience Required

Min 10 years of relevant experience In Automotive, Commercial, Off-Highway Industry.

Experience of working across Multiple International Regions & Cultures is Must.

Long Term Onsite exposure (2+ years) in similar roles would be preferred.

Key Soft Skills:

  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Strong 360° communication skills, including presentations to senior management
  • Excellent coordination, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hands-on experience with AI tools

Preferred Qualifications

B.Tech (Mechanical/electrical/production/Automobile/Agricultural)

PMP trained/certified (preferred, not mandatory)
