Job Purpose

Lead cross-functional programs for globally regulated products, with emphasis on cybersecurity, compliance, governance, and product lifecycle readiness. Responsible for coordinating engineering, product, regulatory, quality, manufacturing, legal, supplier, and customer stakeholders to ensure programs meet business objectives while complying with applicable cybersecurity and regulatory requirements across worldwide markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide program leadership for cybersecurity and compliance initiatives, including governance planning, stakeholder alignment, milestone management, risk tracking, and escalation of regulatory or technical readiness concerns.
  • Develop and manage the program budget, schedule, resource needs, and results, including impacts driven by cybersecurity requirements, compliance deliverables, audits, assessments, certification activities, and governance body expectations.
  • Responsible for adherence to contracts, customer commitments, cybersecurity requirements, and applicable global compliance obligations, including coordination of evidence, traceability, issue resolution, and readiness reviews needed to demonstrate compliance.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, systems engineering, or related technical field preferred; business or program management degree acceptable with demonstrated technical experience. 
  • Minimum 5 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, with demonstrated experience leading technical programs involving hardware, software, embedded electronics, cybersecurity, and regulated product development. 
  • Demonstrated track record of managing and implementing New Product Introduction (NPI) programs, Release to Manufacturing (RTM), and product lifecycle deliverables in environments requiring cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, technical evidence, and cross-functional governance.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems, electronics architecture, software development lifecycle, cybersecurity-by-design practices, secure product development processes, and technical risk management.
  • Experience working with manufacturing vendors, contract manufacturers, software suppliers, engineering partners, and external compliance or assessment bodies to introduce new products to market while meeting cybersecurity, quality, regulatory, and documentation requirements.
  • Familiarity with electronic assembly, manufacturing readiness, secure production processes, configuration control, software release coordination, and traceability requirements for regulated products.
  • Experience coordinating with internal and external governance bodies, regulatory authorities, standards organizations, certification partners, auditors, cybersecurity assessors, and cross-functional steering teams to align requirements, resolve issues, and maintain compliance readiness across global markets.
  • Working knowledge of global cybersecurity and compliance frameworks applicable to connected products, embedded systems, software-enabled equipment, data protection, product security, and market access. Ability to interpret regulatory expectations and translate them into program plans, deliverables, evidence packages, and stakeholder actions.
  • Has knowledge of the business, technical, cybersecurity, and regulatory landscape and contributes to strategic decisions that balance customer needs, compliance obligations, program timing, product risk, and market readiness.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred electrical, software, systems, or mechanical engineering background with experience supporting regulated product development.
  • Preferred experience working with global cybersecurity and compliance regulations, standards, assessments, audits, and governance bodies across multiple markets.

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is USD $120,225.00 - $184,345.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
