Job Purpose

The Program Manager is accountable for the execution of programs (new product) and drives a cross-functional project team of executers to address new programs. This position reports to the Global Platform Manager for Crop Preparation, Round & Small Square Balers. Program managers routinely provide supervision of a project or multiple projects to achieve the corporate vision and resulting business targets. This role involves liaison activities and visibility with senior management and stakeholders in commercial and industrial organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimizes performance across program platforms to deliver maximum functional and technical value. Leads cross-functional execution of GPD programs to meet objectives related to schedule, quality, cost, and functionality.
  • Owns master plans and ensures schedules are followed, developing solutions to program challenges, and influencing others for successful completion of the project on time and on budget.
  • Facilitates communication among cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, proactively identifies customer needs and requirements for delivery, and appropriately escalates and mitigates risks throughout the new product program.
  • Drives regular reviews to ensure accountability and effective management of projects, stakeholders, and suppliers by leveraging Program Management Office (PMO) tools and expertise throughout the process.
  • Support proposal preparation that may include assisting with plans, specifications, and financial terms of a contract or business development-related initiative.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business or a related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agricultural Engineering Degree with a focus in heavy machinery or Industrial Design.
  • Innovative thinking to formulate solutions that consider the long-term implications and future impact.
  • Demonstrates exceptional communication skills, effective information management, and ability to influence diverse audiences—Create clear materials and professional presentations for senior leaders and cross-cultural settings.

Pay Transparency

​The annual salary for this role is $106,500 - $163,500 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
