Job Purpose

The Precision Agriculture Trainer will provide regional targeted training on all precision farming solutions.

 

This individual will be responsible for training CNH Agriculture dealers and will be required travel up to 50%.



Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, prepare, and deliver technical and end-user precision agriculture training for dealer technicians, precision specialists, dealership personnel, internal CNH employees, field teams, and other approved audiences.
  • Conduct tailored onsite and virtual dealer training based on submitted training requests, identified regional needs, certification requirements, product launches, support trends, and dealer capability gaps.
  • Support delivery of precision certification pathway content, including Precision Professional, Advanced Precision Farming Training, future advanced application courses, and other face-to-face or blended technical training programs as assigned.
  • Lead hands-on training activities involving installation, setup, calibration, configuration, operation, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and basic repair of precision farming systems on CNH equipment and supported application platforms.
  • Train dealers on practical precision workflows, including guidance and steering, displays and user interfaces, connectivity and telematics, FieldOps integration, ISO/task-controller operation, application control, data movement, software updates, activations, and machine-to-implement setup.
  • Coordinate dealer training requests from intake through completion, including clarifying audience, objectives, location, equipment needs, software/unlock requirements, training materials, dates, travel, and follow-up expectations.
  • Work with dealers, CNH Field Representatives/Delta Teams, Technical Support, Training Development, Commercial Training, Product Management, Engineering, and other internal teams to align training efforts with business needs and product readiness.
  • Stay current on CNH precision farming products, integrated solutions, platforms, software releases, service updates, and support trends.
  • Participate in train-the-trainer sessions, product immersion events, validation activities, pilot courses, launch readiness work, and technical knowledge-transfer sessions to prepare for future training delivery.
  • Provide actionable feedback to training development and product/support teams based on dealer questions, class observations, hands-on issues, field learnings, and course evaluation results.
  • Review training feedback and support trends to identify recurring knowledge gaps, refine delivery methods, recommend content improvements, and support creation of quick-reference materials or performance-support resources.
  • Assist with preparation and logistics for assigned classes, including reviewing equipment readiness, coordinating training aids, verifying software and unlock requirements, ordering or preparing student materials, and ensuring training environments support the learning objectives.
  • Support regional commercial training events, dealer clinics, white-glove or immersive dealer events, and customer-facing demonstrations when the event has a defined precision training need.
  • Provide limited technical support assistance when directed by management, especially when support activity creates training value, exposes a repeatable dealer knowledge gap, or supports launch readiness.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling, activity tracking, training documentation, and follow-up communication so team capacity, delivered training, and dealer development efforts can be reported consistently.

Experience Required

  • Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Education, or related field with 6+ years of experience with precision technology.
    • In lieu of Bachelor's degree - Associate's degree in Agriculture, Education, or related field with 8+ years of experience with precision technology.
  • 1+ years direct experience teaching and/or training preferred
  • Willing to travel approximately 50% to off-site locations to present training courses. 

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is USD $74,625.00 - $114,425.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
