Job Purpose
Reporting to the CE EMEA/APAC/ANZ Warranty Manager and coordinating activities with the India Senior Warranty Assessor, the Warranty Assessor is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely evaluation of dealer warranty claims in accordance with CE Warranty Terms and Conditions, supporting effective warranty governance and cost control while delivering high-quality service to the dealer network.
The role contributes to improving claim quality, supporting dealer capability development, and ensuring the consistent application of warranty policies across the CE India network.
The successful candidate will be accountable for handling Level 1 and Level 2 category claims, maintaining effective communication with CE dealers through the WIT tool, and supporting dealer development through periodic warranty training sessions.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of warranty claims in line with both quantitative and qualitative departmental targets.
• Managing first-level communication between the Warranty department and the dealer network, clarifying warranty claim queries and other warranty-related matters via the WIT communication tool.
• Delivering both face-to-face and remote training sessions to dealers on warranty processes, common claim issues, and best practices, with the objective of continuously improving dealer knowledge and claim submission quality.
• Working effectively with Brand Field teams, Product Support, and Quality teams to resolve dealer warranty claim issues and support the identification of appropriate technical or process solutions.
- Manage daily Level 1 and Level 2 warranty claims and/or pre-approvals, ensuring claim integrity, accuracy, and compliance with established Warranty Terms and Conditions.
- Provide support for Level 3 claims when required, based on workload and business priorities.
- Review warranty claims to ensure accuracy, completeness of documentation, and alignment with Warranty Terms and Conditions.
- Monitor claim control issues and identify patterns related to dealer claim behaviour, recurring submission errors, or potential non-compliance.
Experience Required
Minimal 5 years
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced English language skills
- Experience in SAP would be an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, expert Excel skills
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering
