Job Purpose

The Construction Equipment (CE) Precision Field Specialist is responsible for managing an assigned territory for sales and distribution of Construction Precision Solutions & Telematics products. The Specialist will act as the lead expert while partnering with CASE Construction and CNH Parts & Service brands in developing the Precision Construction business.

This position will cover a territory primarily in the Northern US. The ideal candidate will reside in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, or Iowa, however other locations may be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Commercial Brands to target dealers with high potential for Precision Construction products and optimize performance through the development and implementation of a territory business plan.

  • Promote brand and product awareness by supporting dealer-sponsored customer sales events and Precision Construction displays at trade shows.

  • Assist dealers in expanding customer base through the sale of Precision Construction products.

  • Ensure dealer product certification and delivery of sales and product training initiatives to dealership staff.

  • Responsible to meet annual sales targets for Precision Construction options on whole goods and aftermarket sales for assigned territory.

  • Support Commercial Brand field sales team as Precision Construction product expert during demo or other hands-on customer phase of sales pursuance.

  • Especially involved with competitive acquisition of accounts including supporting the conversion of customers' current technology and data to CNH Industrial Precision Construction products, enabling conversion of whole goods to the commercial brands.

Experience Required

  • The qualified candidate will have:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or other technical discipline
    • In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an Associates degree plus 3 or more years of related field experience in sales, support, or development OR HSD/GED plus 5 or more years of related experience in sales, support, or development may be considered.
    • Must be able to travel significantly (up to 70%).

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Strong knowledge and understanding of Construction Equipment industry and products, including the ability to operate equipment.
    • Field sales experience with an OEM or dealership.
    • Prior experience with CASE or New Holland Construction Equipment a plus.
    • Ability to work well as product expert in a team sales environment.
    • Ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
    • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Superior written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills, required.

Pay Transparency

​The annual salary for this role is USD $71,725.00 - $105,200.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
