Job Purpose

The position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely product costing activities to support business continuity, correct pricing decisions, and compliance with internal and tax requirements.Specifically, the role is accountable for determining correct product costs for spare parts in a timely manner, enabling uninterrupted material movements and operational continuity. It also involves calculating and reporting consolidated product costs to ensure accurate sales pricing and to maintain intercompany mark-up factors in alignment with Central Tax guidelines, thereby supporting compliant intercompany transfer pricing.In addition, the position provides analytical support to Purchasing by performing cost comparisons, material economics analyses, and reporting to identify the most cost-effective sourcing and supplier options.Depending on the level of responsibility, the role contributes to process execution in accordance with CNHI policies and procedures, proactively supports and coordinates process improvements, and, at higher levels, offers expert guidance and best practices to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather cost related information from proper (worldwide & local) systems or request/get data from the business.
• Maintain mark-up and costing tables/parameters.
• Maintain the spare parts (Europe real and virtual depots and South Africa Centurion standard cost database.
• Monitor cost related system interfaces, cost consistency between different (worldwide and local) systems, and take proper action to solve inconsistencies.
• Simulate and calculate the year-over-year spare parts inventory revaluation.
• Prepare the input for the MPV vouchers and distribute to all EMEA GL entities & South Africa to assure correct spare parts MPV reporting.
• Monthly MPV reconciliation with Oracle for all Europe CNHI AMS locations + South Africa Centurion.
• Monthly material economics analysis & reporting towards Europe CNHI AMS locations + South Africa Centurion Purchasing and maintenance of the Cognos reporting system.
• Give support to internal and external audits: be able to explain how the job is executed and the link with the corresponding business processes.
• Maintain knowledge about the policies and (central) instructions in the cost accounting area and highlighting inconsistencies if occur.
• Develop and maintain desktop procedures related to all aspects of the cost accounting job.
• Align and verify with the business on costing related topics.
• Give basic support (data validation, giving input for costing tables,…) to cost accounting related projects.
• Support and coordinate cross-functional projects related to spare parts costing, ensuring proper planning, execution, monitoring of activities, timelines and deliverables.

Advanced level: (above position accountabilities extended with…)

• Coordination of the yearly standard costing processes with the various business partners involved.
• Be cost accounting reference, both locally and regionally.
• Understand, align and advise the business in costing related topics and processes.
• Support business improvement programs from a cost accounting perspective.
• Advise colleagues & business by sharing cost accounting knowledge.

Specialist level: (above position accountabilities extended with…)

• Responsible for a consistent costing process between Europe /South Africa and the other region spare parts depots and coordinate a number of people.
• Take leading role in costing related projects from start to end.
• Provide specialist guidance related to manufacturing and spare parts processes from a costing point of view.
• Identify efficiencies and implement improvements in the cost accounting area.

Experience Required

• Master Degree in Economics (or equal through experience).
• Expert knowledge and application of Excel and Access.
• Knowledge of CNH Industrial systems, business processes and products.
• Knowledge of managerial cost accounting rules and flows.
• Advanced level: A minimum of 2 years experience in cost accounting
• Specialist level: A minimum of 5 years experience in cost accounting
