Job Purpose
The Parts Lifecycle Specialist is responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of parts, from initial sourcing and inventory management through to end-of-life and disposal. This role involves ensuring that parts are available for production or service requirements while optimizing inventory levels, minimizing waste, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of parts, ensuring that they are sourced, stored, tracked, and disposed of according to company policies and best practices.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of parts and to optimize inventory levels.
- Conduct regular reviews of parts inventory, identifying obsolete or slow-moving parts and recommending strategies for disposal, reallocation, or reuse.
- Monitor the performance and usage of parts throughout their lifecycle, tracking key metrics and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards in the management of parts throughout their lifecycle.
- Support the development and implementation of strategies for parts supply, storage, and end-of-life management, aligning with overall business goals.
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field with at least 3-5 years of experience in parts management, inventory control, or supply chain operations, or
- High School Diploma with 7 years of experience in parts management, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is $63,750 - $97,750 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
