Intern Program Overview
We are committed to building a strong talent pipeline by investing in early career professionals. Our internship and co-op programs provide mentorship, training, hands-on experience, and growth opportunities that empower students to explore their career paths with confidence. Summer interns work full-time (40 hours per week) from May through August. Candidates must be currently enrolled college students actively pursuing a degree to participate in the internship program
Job Purpose
The Themal Systems Intern will apply Systems Engineering methods (transforming product requirements into system diagrams and component-level requirements) and Thermodynamics (describing the behavior of the refrigeration cycle) on HVAC systems equipping Agricultural machines.
Agricultural machines can work for several consecuive hours in severe environments. The systematic approach that the intern will learn and apply, ensures that the systems delivered will match customers' needs, allowing vehicle users to perform their work in a comfortable enclosure.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and develop detailed product designs, including specifications, drawings, and 3D models, using design software (e.g., CAD, SolidWorks).
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and product management teams to ensure designs meet requirements for functionality, cost, quality, and manufacturability.
- Perform design calculations, simulations, and stress analysis to verify the performance and safety of products.
- Conduct design reviews and refine product designs based on feedback from stakeholders, ensuring that designs are optimized for production and meet customer needs.
- Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, manuals, and reports, to support product development and manufacturing processes.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and design techniques to continuously improve design processes and product offerings.
Educational Level
Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor’s degree

The annual salary for this role is USD $19.57 - $35.02 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
