Job Purpose

The Senior Sourcing Specialist is an individual contributor role with primary responsibility for the drivetrain components including for North American operations as part of a global purchasing team. This role requires exceptional communication skills, strong organizational and time management capabilities, and the ability to build collaborative relationships with global suppliers and cross functional teams.

The Senior Sourcing Specialist will lead negotiations, support budget and sourcing targets, and achieve Global and North American objectives. The position requires North American execution, requiring strong alignment across cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Selection

  •  Evaluation, selection, and sourcing activities for assigned commodities including Carden Shafts, PTO’s & Clutches across North American operations, while supporting global sourcing initiatives with the global commodity team.
  • Support the development and execution of North American and global supply base strategies that achieve best total value across total cost, quality, delivery, lead time, service.
  • Lead negotiations covering pricing, commercial terms, and risk mitigation.
  • Translate business needs into effective sourcing strategies that support performance and long-term competitiveness.
  • Use global market intelligence (RM trends, tariffs, FX, capacity constraints) to inform decision making and mitigate risk.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to ensure consistent execution of global strategies, while addressing market dynamics and operational requirements.

Supplier Performance & Relationship Management

  • Drive supplier performance with strategic business reviews.
  • Own, Build and strengthen strategic partnerships with key suppliers to ensure alignment, collaboration, and long‑term value creation.
  • Drive commercial conflict resolution with suppliers when necessary.
  • Lead strategic initiatives across global sourcing, tariff mitigation, and new program launches.

CrossFunctional Collaboration / New Product Sourcing & Support

  • Support new product launch initiatives by applying global and regional sourcing strategies, to ensure program objectives in timing, cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Program Management to understand requirements, budgets, and operational challenges.

Experience Required

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain or related field along with a minimum of +8 years of purchasing experience. 

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is USD $86,625.00 - $132,825.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
