Job Purpose
The person in this role will be responsible for ensuring that the training and development activities for the manufacturing site meet the business needs. They will create customer success by delivering the best experiences to their internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow prescribed safety standards, rules and regulations including those regarding the usage of PPE, Emergency Plans and EHS&E Policies.
- Actively participate in people development, responsible for working with project leaders to ensure that tools and targets for the project members are developed and published and training plans are created to close knowledge gaps.
- Managing the competency management process to ensure that tools, skills, and behavior gaps for employees are closed.
- Creation, conducting and coordination of training activities and managing the record keeping of such activities.
- Gathering and analysis of information to design, develop and deliver new training programs that are efficient and effective and have a positive impact on the organization.
- Presentation of course material to employees through a traditional classroom approach, one on one coaching and other methods.
- Ensure the effectiveness of both internal and external training by monitoring, measuring and taking appropriate corrective steps.
- Preparation and management of the site training budget.
- Ensure the Training Management System and the training filing are efficient and accurate to meet the needs of the plant.
Experience Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job
- Ability and willingness to work effectively with all employees
- Excellent work record and attendance
- Prior work experience and overall work performance including proven safety record
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to problem solve and demonstrated conflict resolution skills

The pay for this role is 28.58/hour.
