Job Purpose
The Supplier Warranty Expert manage and support to maximize the supplier warranty recovery by assessing high-value claims, conducting technical failure analysis, and ensuring compliance with supplier agreements. This role serves as a technical authority and liaison between internal teams, suppliers, and dealers to drive warranty cost recovery and continuous product improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess and review high-value warranty claims from both technical and policy perspectives.
- Approve or reverse payments and initiate recovery actions with suppliers
- Enforce supplier warranty agreement terms and manage escalations.
- Support dispute resolution related to debit memos and claim settlements via the Supplier Portal.
- Conduct detailed failure analysis of components and assemblies.
- Provide root cause reports to support warranty recovery and product improvement.
- Offer high-level technical support to dealers, suppliers, and internal warranty teams.
- Guide and mentor the claim assessment team on technical and policy matters
- Use CNH systems (e.g., telematics, parts diagrams, specifications) to validate failure modes and assign responsibility.
- Support epidemic failure identification and validation for supplier recovery.
- Complete training on the Warranty Module in the Supplier Portal.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and supplier agreements.
Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in warranty management, supplier quality, or technical service roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of failure analysis techniques and root cause methodologies.
- Experience working with suppliers and managing technical disputes.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and using diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with telematics systems and warranty management platforms.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a global, matrixed organization.
Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is $72,750 - $106,700 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
