Job Purpose

The New Holland Crop Production Business Manager is the go-to-market leader and primary champion of customer experience within the grain production, row crop and Ag Service Provider (ASP) market segments in North America. The successful candidate will work closely with CNH global product management & marketing, New Holland commercial marketing team, and advertising agency partners to create market development strategy and deliver timely and effective communications to internal and external stakeholders.

Reporting directly to the Vice President of New Holland North America, this senior manager also leads a team of field-based Cash Crop Production Specialists across the U.S. and Canada, enhancing sales execution through equipment systems optimization and effective machine demonstrations & training, delivering maximum customer business impact.

This position serves as the North American business lead for the New Holland crop harvesting, seeding and tillage, application equipment, and high horsepower tractor product lines including leading market analysis, inventory planning, distribution, price positioning and guiding training for the next generation of New Holland equipment. The Segment Business Manager will work across global product management, product marketing and sales operations to define the needs of production farmers and ag service contractors, developing and executing go-to-market strategy during product lifecycle including the prelaunch, launch, and production life of product lines within their responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Go To Market Strategy and Product Marketing Coordination

· Go-to-market execution, including retail business planning to drive upstream supply chain, lead management strategy, sales and dealer training

· Champion voice of customer (CX) for North America farmers, contractors and ag service providers, defining customer requirements across global product management and commercial marketing, owning the unique voice of New Holland NA in product portfolio planning and product development

· Pursue deep first-hand understanding of customer experience, leveraging this understanding in development of innovative ideas to improve customer experience and grow market share

 

Marketing Planning and Strategic Development

· Regular and timely analysis of the midrange tractor and hay & forage equipment competitive landscape, including equipment, marketing tools, and customer journey

· Monitor and manage effectiveness of communications, digital plans, and media advertising for dairy, livestock, and hay & forage contractor segments

· Annually create and direct the execution of a strategic business plan for the segment, improving dealer engagement, execution capability and targeting opportunistic growth

 

 

Field Specialist Leadership and Sales Execution Support

· Lead and coach team of 10-12 Cash Crop Production Specialists distributed across US and Canada serving as our front line of product and technology operations expertise in support of our dealers

· Champion a culture of inclusion, creating an open and transparent team dynamic fostering growth and development through diverse viewpoints, experiences and collaboration

· Coordinate the development of sales support materials, local- and region-specific photo and video collateral, and other customer-facing elements utilized by dealers and partners

 

Budget Management

· Manage internal and external resources efficiently for regional marketing and sales development activities aligned with annual SG&A investment budget

Experience Required

· Degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Business Management, Marketing or similar

· Minimum 7-10 years of sales, marketing or product management experience in machinery, powersports, or associated industry space

· Proven skills in technical communication, market analysis, financial acumen, professional negotiation, strategic leadership and consistent delivery to commercial objectives

· Strong track record in developing teams and leading across business functions

Preferred Qualifications

Pay Transparency

​The annual salary for this role is USD $130,000.00 - $190,000.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
