Job Purpose
The Plant Human Resources Manager is a member of the plant leadership team and a business partner to the Plant Manager, leading all HR activities for the New Holland, PA manufacturing facility. The role connects people strategy to plant operating objectives through workforce planning, employee relations, talent and engagement, and is expected to be visible and credible with employees on the production floor across all shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Plant Manager and leadership team to understand business strategy, the production plan and operating metrics, and provide HR insights and solutions to business challenges.
- Use workforce and business data (headcount, overtime, attendance, turnover, engagement, labor cost) to identify trends, anticipate risk and recommend actions.
- Lead workforce planning for volume changes, shutdowns and ramp-ups, including staffing, critical skills and retention.
- Maintain a consistent, visible presence on the shop floor across all shifts and build trust with hourly employees, team leads and supervisors.
- Advise plant leadership on hourly employee relations, identify concerns early and escalate significant issues promptly to plant and regional HR leadership.
- Counsel managers and supervisors on policies, procedures, compensation, benefits and corrective action to ensure consistent and fair treatment of all employees.
- Lead engagement action planning with plant leadership and follow up to confirm actions deliver the intended results.
- Coach leaders on career development, individual development plans and succession planning.
- Manage the staffing process to fill positions timely with high-quality candidates.
- Facilitate pay actions aligned with the total compensation strategy and applicable laws.
- Lead the HR components of the plant's lean and continuous improvement processes.
- Ensure compliance with local, state and federal employment and EEO laws.
- Lead, develop and hold accountable the plant HR team.

Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or related field
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with significant experience in a manufacturing plant environment
- Demonstrated comfort working in a plant environment, including regular time on the production floor
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen; advanced Excel required, Power BI or similar a plus
- Experience with hourly employee relations in a manufacturing environment
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is USD $137,475.00 - $210,795.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
