Job Purpose
We are currently hiring for an Environmental, Health & Safety Supervisor for our New Holland, PA Hay Tools Plant. This role has overall responsibility for leading a team of professionals to ensure compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and programming.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management of the EWO and SEWO program. Coordinate accident/incident investigations and follow-up on corrective actions.
- Conduct SMAT, Safety Audit and EMAT, Environmental Audit. Conduct routine area audits for regulatory compliance and system conformance.
- Administrative support for programs / procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and reduce EHS&E hazards associated with plant operations.
- Support for OHSAS18001, ISO14001 and ISO50001 management system.
- Coordinate EHS&E training and communications.
- Remain current on relevant regulatory and management system requirements and serve as a central resource to the plant.
- Support tracking and reporting of facility EHS&E performance; internal to the facility, regionally, and through CNH system.
- Provide EHS&E information as required.
- Administrative support for EHS&E data, including safety and environmental performance measures, training, incident tracking, and audit findings.
- Generate and prepare reports, presentations, and training modules for use by shop employees, supervisors, and management teams.
- Lead and support continuous improvement of the EHS&E function across the site.
- Designs, develops, implements and is responsible for the organization's environmental, health and safety programs and procedures to
safeguard employees and surrounding communities and to ensure that all facilities are in compliance with regulations. - Investigates accidents, develops recommendations and follow-up to prevent accident recurrence, and promotes safety conscious
work performance and training programs applicable to the plant's policies and processes. - Assists plants in pollution prevention and waste minimization programs through periodic monitoring and technical guidance.
- Maintains detailed records and prepares related reports and studies for submission to regulatory agencies.
- Conducts safety audits, studies and investigations to ensure compliance with government safety and health laws, standards
and regulations, and industrial hygiene. - Responsibilities are within the Environmental, Health and Safety job family as a generalist or in a combination of functions.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Experience Required
- A Bachelor's degree is required; major in EHS&E, Engineering, Environmental Science, etc. preferred
- 7+ years of EHS work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven project/process management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A passion for creating and enhancing the safety culture of more than 500 employees
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to apply lean tools to establish root causes and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is USD $105,750.00 - $141,000.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
