Job Purpose
In this role you will be responsible for planning, implementation, and management over the activities in the assigned areas of the warehouse. In addition, you will ensure the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products within the assigned budget targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage people and deploy resources to support the needs of the business. Provide direct supervision and ensure organizational objectives align with plant and corporate objectives.
- Provide feedback and mentorship to direct reports and foster a teamwork environment throughout the business unit. Meet day-to-day and short-term targets by setting priorities for the team and ensuring task completion.
- Understand long-term vision and provide direction and resources to support World Class Warehouse objectives and cost reduction targets.
- Use of value stream maps to identify bottlenecks in the process and use of lean tools to eliminate those bottlenecks to meet production objectives.
- Provide strategic as well as day to day oversight to ensure target and objectives are met, meet quality standards, and meet or fall below budgeted production costs to meet marketplace demand.
- Manage department budget and related costs related to assigned business unit.
- Resolve issues related to production, machinery, processing and/or other operations.
- Coach, lead, and mentor employees throughout the assigned area to foster an environment of collaboration and employee development.
- Actively review forecast tools and relevant reports to plan the operational needs
- Leads short and long-term forecasting models to ensure cohesiveness with the budget and operational efficiency
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to secure strong operational results
- Ensuring that all shifts are fully staffed and that workload is completed efficiently and effectively
- Train, develop and motivate employees at all levels
- Responsible for growing operational efficiency to reduce cost and improve productivity by applying knowledge of operational processes within the DC
- Manages equipment needs and suggests investments for capital improvements
- Ensures that Warehouse materials are rotated and stored accurately
- Clearly communicate goals and results for the facility with the operational leaders and teams
- Lead and develop other facility leaders through open and transparent development conversations, sharing knowledge of the Focused 5 and cultural beliefs
- Lead and develop within other areas of responsibility and in accordance with policy and procedures of the facility
- Other duties as assigned
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least five (5) years of previous experience leading teams in a high-volume distribution center or warehousing environment; OR
- Associate's Degree with at least eight (8) years of previous experience outlined above
- HS Diploma/GED with at least ten (10) years of previous experience outlined above

Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is $93,000 - $123,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
