Job Purpose
The North America Validation team, supporting the Harvesting platform, is responsible for ensuring combines and harvesting equipment meet performance, reliability, and customer expectations before reaching the market. By conducting lab and field testing, the team validates subsystems and full vehicles while driving improvements in design and functionality.
As a Field Test Engineer Intern – Crop Harvesting, you will work closely with experienced test and design engineers, gaining hands-on experience in product validation, data reporting, and field testing of harvesting equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities may include:

Learning the functional operation of harvesting equipment and demonstrating an understanding of how subsystems interact in the harvesting process

Operating combines and other harvesting equipment in the field during crop harvest and on-site testing activities

Creating daily logs, problem reports, and test reports within CNH systems to strengthen technical writing and communication skills

Traveling to field locations with senior test engineers to support product validation activities

Assisting with lab-based testing when not traveling, to understand how components and functional areas are developed and validated before field use

Supporting prototype builds and installation of parts in collaboration with product development engineers

Communicating test results and observations to design and development teams to support product improvements
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following majors or in a related field: Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering
Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is USD $19.00 - $31.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
