Job Purpose
The Midrange Case IH Combine Engineering team supports both new product development and Current Product Management (CPM) by addressing challenges from customers, CNH factories, and test machines. The team works dynamically across the entire process—from root cause analysis to design, development, and implementation of solutions. Interns on this team work alongside engineers as full team members, gaining hands-on exposure to the full product lifecycle of combine harvesters.
As a Combine Harvesting Engineering Intern, you will gain experience in design, modeling, prototype builds, and laboratory testing of subsystems for combine harvesters while contributing to real-world product improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities may include:

Preparing and completing designs, layouts, and drawings for specific product elements under development or improvement, consistent with project objectives and schedules

Applying engineering techniques and considering manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and environmental standards to produce cost-effective designs

Performing engineering calculations to determine part sizes, strengths, and solve design challenges

Supporting prototype builds, drafting change requests, requisitions, work orders, parts lists, and test requests as directed by project leaders

Assisting with laboratory and product evaluations to validate design performance

Resolving functional and mechanical problems on assigned subsystems

Learning and applying CNH engineering standards, ISO procedures, and work instructions

Gaining proficiency in CAD (Pro-E) and engineering data management systems as required for project responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor’s degree in the following majors or a related field: Agricultural and Biological Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is USD $19.00 - $31.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
