Job Purpose
This position provides technical support for all AG and CE product lines and platforms related to emissions certification and compliance. It covers both CNH-manufactured engines and engines from external suppliers, with a primary focus on the EU market.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert and technical point of contact for off-road diesel engine emissions certification and compliance. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinating with major engine suppliers, equipment platforms, and vehicle homologation teams to ensure timely certification for seamless product launches.
- Leading and supporting conformance testing activities (e.g., COP, ISM, PEMS) while managing collaboration among internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing all EU-related engine certification and compliance activities for CNH-manufactured engines.
- Overseeing the new CNH engine certificate repository tool and assisting with the FPT labeling program (HLPS).
- Supporting engine and aftertreatment system (ATS) stockpile initiatives with brands and product lines by preparing and consolidating plans across AG and CE to develop company-wide proposals.
- Assisting with additional compliance topics such as duplicate labeling, test exemptions, emissions-related recalls, or product improvement programs (PIPs).
The ideal candidate will be open to travel to gain knowledge of products and roadmaps by working directly with platform and product line teams. They will also build expertise through interactions with EU legal authorities and global regulatory bodies responsible for emissions certification.
Experience Required
- Demonstrated experience in global emissions compliance and certification.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the off-road machinery industry, automotive sector, or homologation and certification-related roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related field
- Strong project management skills are essential, as well as the ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams.
