Job Purpose
Electrical Electronic System Integration Test engineer is part of the core expert team within product validation. The role works closely with Electrical and Electronic development team and is the main reference in the product validation team for electrical & electronic items related to platform assigned.
The person in this role is responsible for supporting the integration, validation and troubleshooting of electrical, electronic, software and electro-hydraulic systems on European tractor platforms, ensuring that vehicle functions, sensors, modules and control systems operate correctly and meet product and business requirements throughout the development and validation process.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to define the integrated validation plans (IVP) EE system integration items for the assigned platforms.
- Test specification definition starting from system specification to cover functional and performance vehicle testing activity.
- As required, conduct tests on vehicles or bench/simulators, document the results and report issues via PIR/ POLARION tracking tools.
- Support and speed up the EE & System Integration issue troubleshooting during project development phase.
- Participate to design review and software meeting.
- Follow issues to resolution and validation of resolution, providing additional information and data as required to the design teams.
- Proactive support for quality and reliability investigations into current product issues to identify failure modes, perform root cause analysis and develop possible fixes.
Experience Required
- Vehicle, Software, electrical/electronics testing experience, or experience in system/software development required.
- Basic tractor electro-hydraulic subsystem functionality and main tractor field usage operation knowledge;
- Good Hydraulic knowledge;
- Good Knowledge of CAN communications and J1939 CAN standard;
- Good Vector CANalyzer & ETAS INCA tools experience;
- MATLAB and Simulink tool usage knowledge for data post processing and sw development/debugging;
- Tractor driving license holder preferable;
- Ability to demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills required (English and Italian)
- Well organized and accountable on the tasks assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electronic Engineering.
- Willingness to travel for short business trips (5-10 days)
Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is EUR €39,000.00 - €52,000.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
