- Develop CFD simulation models to evaluate engineering designs for agricultural and construction machinery.
- Perform analyses involving fluid flow, heat transfer, combustion and emissions, chemical reactions, sprays, multiphase flows, hydraulics, aero-acoustics, particle transport, and refrigeration systems to evaluate performance and resolve design challenges.
- Provide clear engineering recommendations to peers, cross-functional engineering teams, and management based on sound engineering principles, simulation results, and technical judgment.
- Apply engineering standards, simulation methodologies, and global product development processes in daily work.
- Collaborate effectively with global, cross-functional teams in a multicultural engineering environment.
- Adjust working hours as needed to support effective collaboration with U.S. and India based counterparts.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline, with relevant industry or research experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
- Minimum three years of hands-on experience using Simcenter Star-CCM+ or equivalent CFD software.
- Strong knowledge of computational fluid dynamics principles and their application to engineering design and validation.
- Working knowledge of underhood thermal management and engine cooling, multi-physics simulations, climate control systems, aeroacoustics, and fan noise analysis.
- Familiarity with exhaust aftertreatment system analyses, including Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR), Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF), and Diesel Oxidation Catalysts (DOC).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts, findings, and recommendations to both internal stakeholders and external customers.
