Job Purpose

The Manufacturing Footprint & Innovation role supports one of CNH's key strategic initiatives, Footprint Transformation, which is expected to bring significant contribution to the company results in next years.

The position is responsible for supporting and coordinating manufacturing footprint projects worldwide across the Agriculture and Construction segments. Projects may include component transfers between plants, make-or-buy assessments, production scope realignments, plant resizing initiatives, as well as greenfield manufacturing investments.

The role involves evaluating highly confidential business opportunities and strategic scenarios, working closely with subject matter experts across multiple functions including Manufacturing, Commercial, Platform Management, Legal, Tax, Accounting, Industrial Relations, and Human Resources. Recommendations and business cases are regularly presented to senior leadership, including the Global Leadership Team (GLT) and Board of Directors (BoD).

In addition, the role supports initiatives focused on Manufacturing Automation, Artificial Intelligence applications, and Supply Chain & Manufacturing Finance transformation projects, including reporting automation, analytics enhancement, and process digitalization.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading the financial evaluation of manufacturing footprint projects, including investment requirements, implementation costs, expected benefits, and overall business case development.
  • Assessing financial impacts at both Profit & Loss and Cash Flow levels, calculating key indicators such as ROI, NPV, and Payback Period.
  • Developing and consolidating forecast and strategic planning scenarios (Forecast and Strategic Business Plan) for footprint initiatives across all regions.
  • Collaborating with regional and plant finance teams to monitor project assumptions, progress, investments, and realized benefits.
  • Tracking project execution and ensuring expected financial results are achieved; identifying and supporting mitigation plans when deviations occur.
  • Providing financial guidance and alignment across all stakeholders involved in project implementation.
  • Developing analytical models, dashboards, and KPIs to support project evaluation and performance monitoring.
  • Managing manufacturing financial databases, data lakes, and advanced analytics environments.
  • Supporting Finance Transformation initiatives, including IWB automation, reporting improvements, AI-driven manufacturing projects, and other continuous improvement programs.
  • Partnering with business leaders to identify opportunities for investment optimization, operational efficiency, and value creation.

Experience Required

  • Master's Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance roles within industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in multinational industrial organizations and/or consulting firms with a strong manufacturing focus.
  • Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Strong proficiency in digital tools and data analytics platforms, including:
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Microsoft Access
    • Power BI
    • Databricks
    • Think-cell
    • Project Management tools
  • Knowledge of SAP modules (FI, CO, MM) is considered an advantage.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a complex international environment.

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is EUR €60,000.00 - €92,000.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
