Intern Program Overview

Job Purpose
This intern will be a part of the EHS team supporting the North America Parts Depots. The Environmental, Health and Safety intern will play a key role in supporting our team by participating in daily operational activities at the depot and contributing to ongoing safety and compliance initiatives. They will provide fresh perspectives on data collection, metrics, employee engagement, and training content, while also helping to promote a positive safety culture across the organization. This hands-on experience will allow the intern to gain valuable insight into real-world EHS practices.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities may include:

Assisting in the review and improvement of safety training programs, recommending updates to increase engagement and retention, and helping incorporate interactive or multimedia elements

Supporting the EHS team with depot audits, including observing workstations, identifying ergonomic risks, and leveraging wearable devices and AI tools to propose improvements

Collaborating with depot leadership to implement practical, cost-effective ergonomic solutions

Evaluating depot operations for compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices

Assisting with data collection, reporting, and analysis related to safety metrics

Participating in daily EHS activities such as Gemba walks, safety training sessions, daily start-ups, and safety committees
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates may be pursuing an Associates, Technical, Bachelor’s, or Post-graduate degree in the following majors: Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Sciences, or related major
Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is USD $18.25 - $37.50 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
