Job Purpose

The Auditor is responsible for supporting the execution of internal audit activities aimed at identifying, assessing, and monitoring risks across a complex organization. The role includes performing Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) testing, conducting inspections, analyses, and procedural reviews within defined areas of scope and complexity, and preparing the related working papers. The Auditor also contributes to the development of practical recommendations to enhance business processes, strengthen internal controls, and support compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. The role may require travel to various company locations to support on-site audit activities. Continuous professional development opportunities will be provided to support growth in audit technical knowledge, business understanding, and professional skills.

Key Responsibilities

Identify internal control weaknesses and opportunities for process improvement through the execution of internal audits and SOX testing activities. Document audit procedures and results in well-structured working papers that adequately support conclusions and findings. Communicate observations to the Lead Auditor and relevant local management, contributing to clear and timely reporting of audit results. Participate in fieldwork activities under the guidance of the Lead Auditor or more senior auditors, while progressively developing knowledge of audit methodologies, processes, and tools. Support the design and continuous improvement of audit programs and procedures. Contribute, as required, to project teams focused on investigations, special reviews, or other ad hoc matters.

Experience Required

Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Previous experience in consulting, internal audit, external audit, risk management, compliance, or internal controls is considered a plus. Proficiency in English is required. Good understanding of company standards, policies, and procedures. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and results orientation. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Familiarity with data analysis tools, statistical techniques, and digital audit solutions is an advantage. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in a second language is preferred. Knowledge of international internal auditing standards and internal control frameworks is an asset. Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and critical thinking. High level of integrity, ethical behavior, confidentiality, and professional objectivity. Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to continuously learn and develop within a global audit environment.

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is EUR €39,000.00 - €59,800.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
