Job Purpose

1. This role is responsible for sourcing Chemical category parts (Tires, Lubricants, Paint, Plastic, Rubber & Misc etc), In addition to this role is also responsible for CE cost reduction initiative Sanchay (Chemical).
2. The role will guarantee that the sourcing is rightfully made in accordance with local/global strategy to ensure the competitiveness, reliability and sustainability

Key Responsibilities

Primary and Secondary duties:

• New part development as per platform milestones & PCM budget
• Capacity enhancement to ensure budgeted volumes & no line loss
• CPM management to ensure PPR to PO targets .
• Productivity improvement as per annual budget through LTA-YOY, Low cost sourcing, SOB optimization, Localization, VA/VE, etc
• Commercial settlement, Budgeting, Make/Buy, Inflation/Deflation, as per defined DOA
• Manage RFQ process, present Pre-RFQ / Recommendation in global sourcing table according to defined DoA to establish business contracts.
• Engage key stake holders, both global & domestic, in developing a collaborative strategic sourcing plan for commodity
• Maintain and improve the relationship with key Suppliers.
• To ensure proper co-ordination with Internal commodity team & Sanchay CFT.

     Leadership/Team Management Responsibility:

Commodity Buyer

Experience Required

Diploma + B.E(Distance)/BE/B.Tech(Regular)- Mechanical+ MBA (added advantage)

Preferred Qualifications

08+ years of experience in Automotive/ Industrial industry/Tractor/Commercial Equipment /Construction Equipment
